Urban Workshop!

I haven't posted in a while, but hopefully should have some shoots coming soon. I know there will be an engagement session soon, and probably a few others.

I'm totally stoked about a workshop I'm planning on taking in the LA area in July. Something that I don't see offered to much in my area is Urban Photography and I love it! How cool. I am a big admirer of "out of the box thinking" when it comes to photography. Something besides parks, beaches, and flower gardens. So I have decided to take an Urban Workshop and get my creative juices flowing. Hopefully I can apply things I learn to engagements, children, seniors, etc...Not only is the photographer going to show how she goes about shooting urban photos, but also lighting, photoshop techniques, etc...so I'm hoping to get a lot out of this workshop. Check out some of her urban style photographes here. So any potential clients in the antelope valley that are looking for urban style photos, check back with me after July.

Nancy Turns 60

This past Saturday I photographed a surprise birthday party. The guest of honor was Nancy and she had tons of family and friends to celebrate with. I had lots of fun shooting this party. Everyone was having such a good time, which gave me some great opportunities for photographs. I'm really excited to go through the rest of the photos. Family Portraits

Last weekend I did some family portraits in Santa Clarita. I've gotten so used to shooting the little ones, but this time I got to shoot some older kids. But let me tell you they were so photogenic! I would go shoot more photos of them in a heartbeat. I've only glanced through my shots, but there are some I really like. As always here are a few to hold you over until I get through everything. This weekend I photographed a 1st birthday party. Nickolas was very cute and walking great! I had a terrific time shooting this birthday party. The family was so wonderful and nice. There are lots of photos to come. But for now, here are just a few.

I took some photos this weekend of the Post Kids (Lorria and James). We captured some Christmas images of both kids, then I shot a lot of photojournalistic 18 month old photos for James. I just started going through everything. But here are just a few that caught my eye! I'm all about the creative photograph! But I threw some portrait ones in here as well.

I love this one! Kids feet are just so small and cute! I just had to capture this moment when he sat himself up on the couch to eat some of his sisters cheerios!

I can never resist the shot of having a kid looking up at me. This is not always and easy shot to capture. But it captures there eyes so well. When I get my opportunity I defiantly take it!
